Saturday for the Senses

I see: My guy in his chair with a book.  He is SO hot in those magnifying readers.  Seriously.

I hear: Chicken noodle soup bubbling on the stove; Seven minutes until "soup's on!"

I smell: The previously mentioned soup and my cranberry mandarin candle which is just orange-y enough to not smell too Spring-like.

I taste: Vanilla Coke Zero.  Love it.

I feel: Itchy.  I need to pay a little more attention to my winter skin.

...and so I begin blogging

...but I'm still not sure why, after all these years, I seem to think this is a good time to start a blog.  Really, I have nothing of value to add to the blog-o-sphere.  I don't have babies, toddlers, or even young children, I am not a gourmet nor a gourmand, not particularly enamored of home keeping; I don't take beautiful photographs, create darling crafts or do anything else of note.

What I HAVE done, though, is "Been there~Done that."  Really.  I have breastfed, bottle fed, budgeted, potty-trained, PTA'd, Scouts, soccer, karate, school, church, work, home, husband, weight-loss/gain/loss/gain/loss/gain (to infinity) and finally I realized that I represent an under-represented group in cyberspace.  I represent those who have kept our homes, raised our kids, loved our partners, held a job,  (generally) kept our sanity, and are now looking at it all from the other side.

I have to tell you:  The view from here is pretty darn good.

Love to all,
Lenora
